  1. Information on this offer and how to claim forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating you accept these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Offer is open to residents of New Zealand.
  3. The offer commences on 18th February 2020 and ends on the 2nd March 2020, inclusive (offer period).
  4. Offer excludes products purchased under a loyalty program or reward program points.
  5. To be eligible to claim the offer, you must have purchased a Dyson product from a participating Harvey Norman store, during the offer period.
  6. (a) To be eligible for a refund under this offer: (i) the product must have been used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the instructions supplied; and (ii) you must produce such evidence as is reasonably required by Dyson to establish that the product is not subject to any hire purchase, lease, rental or other agreement, a result of which being that another party has an interest in or charge over the product. (b) To claim a refund from Dyson under this offer, you must complete the official claim form and attach a copy of the receipt or lodge your claim online at https://discoverdyson.co.nz/30daypromo in order to make the necessary arrangements within 30 days of purchase (c) It is your sole responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of the product to Dyson’s New Zealand premises (address below). Dyson accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of the product during its return, which is at your sole risk until received by Dyson. (d) The product and all accessories must be returned undamaged, in full working order, in original packaging and with a copy of your proof of purchase. (e) Dyson has absolute discretion to determine whether the above conditions have been satisfied entitling you to a refund under this offer. (f) Allow 30 days to receive the refund from the date of authorisation by Dyson. (g) Refunds under this offer will be provided in accordance with the information on how to claim at https://discoverdyson.co.nz/30daypromo to the purchaser of the eligible Dyson product as detailed on the invoice or otherwise communicated to Dyson.
  7. Dyson reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims made in connection with this offer. If your claim is assessed as valid, Dyson will provide you with instructions on how to return your machine to Dyson’s New Zealand premises (address below). Dyson will cover the cost of the courier of the product within New Zealand.
  8. The product, all accessories and any gifts or bonus products must be returned undamaged, in full working order, in original packaging and with original proof of purchase.
  9. Dyson has absolute discretion to determine whether these Terms and Conditions have been satisfied entitling you to a refund under this offer.
  10. If authorised by Dyson, allow 30 days to receive the refund from the date of authorisation.
  11. This offer is in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act (New Zealand).
  12. Dyson reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims and disqualify any claimant for tampering with the claim process or for submitting a claim which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  13. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Dyson excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotional offer, including any claim form that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Dyson) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Dyson. Dyson and its contractors and agents collects and uses your personal information in order to assess and administer your claim. If you do not provide this personal information, then Dyson will not be able to fulfil any valid claims that you may submit. Dyson may also collect and use your personal information to analyse and research customer choices on products, to provide products and services you have requested and for other purposes relating or incidental to this (“the Purposes”). To do so, Dyson may disclose your personal information to its related bodies, business partners or third parties for purposes such as web or data hosting. Some of the recipients are located overseas, including United States of America, the Netherlands and United Kingdom. Dyson will ensure that any transfers of your personal information outside of New Zealand will be in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws and Dyson’s privacy policy. You may have the right to access, update and amend personal information that Dyson holds about you. Note: If you do not provide consent, then Dyson may not be able to fulfil the Purposes.
  14. Dyson’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
